About Irina Gretchanaia
Irina Gretchanaia discovered her talent and true passion while getting her portfolio ready for Fashion Program at Ryerson University. She started drawing fashion models in pencil and watercolour and then she tried oil.
Working in Fashion industry after graduating was an interesting career choice but there was always the desire to be a painter and have a real studio. She finally made her decision and moved to Barrie where she’s living her dream.
She is accomplished painter now and works mostly with oils. You can recognize her work by vibrant colours and elegant compositions.
“Many years ago I found my true love and passion in painting and nothing makes me happier knowing that someone appreciates my work and part of me will always live in my paintings. I find my subject matter everywhere – colour is the key”.
